| Experience: | I have experience in tutoring dating back to my middle school years. I tutored my cousins in Math. In high school, I stayed after hours and volunteered to tutor ninth and tenth graders while I was a sophomore in high school. All of my tutoring experience has been volunteer work. While in college, I took an education class that allowed us to go out to surrounding schools and tutor. I went to a middle school and tutored Math. My collective SAT score was approximately a 990 and my ACT score was a 27. The reason I would like to be a tutor is because I enjoy helping students to get good grades in grade school so that they can end up where I am, which is college. My strengths are math, excellent communication skills, verbal skills, and motivation skills. I have a very friendly personality which I believe is very essential in getting the student whom is being tutored to trust the tutor. I believe that if the students does not trust the tutor that they will not take them serious and fail to continue with getting tutored. All the students that I have tutored has sought out a friendship with me beyond just being a tutor but also a buddy. Right now, I am enrolled in Linear Algebra, Calculus 4, and Discrete Mathematics. Next semester I will be enrolled in College Algebra. |
| Hobbies: | I enjoy basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball. I enjoy going to any sports game. If the student I am tutoring is involved in a sport, I will make an effort to go and support them. I also like to write and sing. I am a very well-rounded individual w |
