Experience
I am a university English professor with over fifteen years of teaching experience. I have taught a wide variety of courses in early British literature, including Shakespeare and Milton. I have also taught grammar and composition. As a scholar, I have published two monographs and a number of other books and essays. I enjoy tutoring simply because I enjoy helping students at all levels improve their analytical and writing skills. It's truly that simple. I began tutoring two years ago, working mostly with students learning English as a foreign language. (I am TESOL and TEFL certified.) The experience has been one of the most rewarding of my career. I have also worked as a Spanish literary translator on three different book projects. In addition to English subjects, then, I am also qualified to also help you develop your Spanish skills.
